The Effectiveness of Using Advertisements to Enhance Pragmatic Language Skills among EFL Learners

چکیده

Pragmatics, a rarely explored area in language teaching, offers the necessary competencies for an understanding and interpretation of meaning beyond words. The current study aimed to identify effectiveness using advertisements teaching enhance students’ pragmatic skills by exploring their opinions observing progress. A descriptive-analytical research method was implemented researcher made use questionnaire consisting 14 items generate participants views about effect advertising Department Languages Translation, Northern Border University, Kingdom Saudi Arabia, explore as tool 70 female first-year English foreign student studying skills. All aspects this led us usefulness advertisement EFL classroom teaching. This results proved that can be used promising instructional approach with maximum possibilities Language Development development Pragmatic recommended paying much attention value learning process.
